  2. I agree with you. It is a legitimate request. However, it is usually used as a joke. "I'll have my beer shaken not stirred" or whatever. I don't mind if it's for real...only when it's used to be funny does it get on my nerves.

  4. $1 in quarters means parking meter.
    $10 in quarters means laundry mat.

    Parking meter = at least one drink
    Laundry mat = I'll never see you again
