Today's drink is the third in the series of Easy Summer Cocktails and sticks to the three ingredient theme. It involves a little more work because you do have to make the syrup first, but if you prepare a large enough batch it can contribute to a lot of other last minute cocktails.
Directions Slice up the entire nectarine and drop it all into a shaker except for the pit. Add the vodka and muddle well. Strain into a jar or measuring pitcher to filter out the fruit chunks. Measure desired amount into a shaker, add ginger syrup, shake with ice, and strain into a martini glass or over ice.
