St. Patrick's Day Cocktail: Lucky Martini

If you're feeling to the pressure to serve up some St. Patrick's Day spirit, but don't want to guzzle green, opt for a festive garnish instead. Get creative by using mint leaves, apple slices, grapes, cucumbers, candy, or whatever else you can conjure up.  You could also ask your guests to present their own creation, whether it sits on the rim of an old classic or doctors up an original.
My particular favorite is below:

Select a bell pepper with four "columns" and slice it thin enough to resemble four petals but thick enough to balance on the rim of your glass. Serve with your favorite St. Paddy's day cocktail, or mine:

Lucky Martini
3 ounces pepper vodka
Drip of vermouth
Bell pepper garnish

  1. Ohhh my goodness! I though I had seen it all until now. That bell pepper is sooo darn clever. It would be cute in a bloody mary too! You're the bomb diggity Jordan!
